Pine Mountain Farm — Maine’s first agritourism destination of its kind

Bourbon House, vineyard, and mountain lodging on one White Mountains foothills farm in Gilead — a short drive from Portland, Boston, and Sunday River.

Stay in a yurt or cabin, taste at the Bourbon House, and walk the vineyard as it comes into season. Pine Mountain Farm is built as a staffed working farm and destination: human hosts, real animals, cold-hardy ice-wine grapes, and room to breathe in the foothills next to National Forest.

Quiet trails and small chapels are here when you want them — easy to find on the land, never the loudest part of the story.

02 — Lodging / stay

Stay at Pine Mountain Farm

Wake up in the White Mountains foothills at Pine Mountain Farm in Gilead, Maine — yurts and cabins on a working agritourism farm, with Bourbon House tastings and vineyard walks as the destination grows.

Pine Mountain Farm is Maine’s first agritourism destination of its kind: lodging, a Bourbon House, and a vineyard on one staffed farm. Book a yurt or cabin for a mountain weekend, a foliage escape, or a base for Sunday River and White Mountain National Forest.

Guests who like a slower walk will find small chapels and a Stations of the Cross trail on the property — marked lightly, meant to be discovered.

03 — Bourbon House / tasting & vineyard

Bourbon House at Pine Mountain Farm

Taste Maine bourbon at the Bourbon House on Pine Mountain Farm in Gilead — part of Maine’s first agritourism destination of its kind, where a Bourbon House, a vineyard, and mountain lodging share one White Mountains foothills farm.

The Bourbon House is the tasting room face of the farm’s spirits story (stills live in a separate annex as the build completes). Pair a tasting with a vineyard walk as cold-hardy ice-wine grapes come online, or fold it into an overnight in a yurt or cabin.

After tasting, walk the land. Chapels and Stations trails are there if you seek them out — unhurried, not advertised as the main reason to come.
